We are registered as a loan aggregator and operate in accordance with applicable Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

2. Information We Collect

When you use our platform, we collect:

• Name — to identify you and address communications correctly.
• Mobile number — to send you OTP verification, loan offers via SMS/WhatsApp, and to share with partner lenders who may contact you.
• Loan preferences — loan amount, gold purity, and gold weight — to match you with relevant lenders.
• WhatsApp opt-in status — whether you have consented to receive updates on WhatsApp.
• Device and usage data — browser type, IP address, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity via OTP before sharing any data.
• To share your name and mobile number with our partner banks and NBFCs (listed lenders) so they can contact you with gold loan offers tailored to your requirements.
• To send you transactional messages, loan offer summaries, and (if opted in) WhatsApp updates from GoldLoanBazaar.
• To improve our platform, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing Your Data With Lenders

By submitting the application form and verifying your OTP, you explicitly consent to GoldLoanBazaar sharing your name and mobile number with one or more of our partner lenders — including but not limited to Muthoot Finance, Manappuram Finance, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and IIFL Finance.

These lenders may contact you by phone, SMS, or WhatsApp to discuss gold loan options. GoldLoanBazaar does not sell your data to any third party outside of these registered lending partners.

5. WhatsApp Communications

If you toggle "Get updates on WhatsApp" in our form, you consent to receive loan offer updates, status notifications, and promotional messages from GoldLoanBazaar on your registered WhatsApp number. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any WhatsApp message or by contacting us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for a maximum of 3 years from the date of collection, or as required by applicable law. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp communications at any time.
